Beiroa Yarn

Description

1 ball of yarn from Beiroa, a Portuguese yarn made entirely from a Portuguese breed of sheep. This is worsted weight, and good yardage at 251 yards. I believe “Rosa Pomar” is the name of the color, as it means “Rose orchard,” and that does correspond well to the color. This is a rustic yarn–it feels somewhat similar to Lopi, but I assume will soften with washing and seems very durable and warm.
